Since 1996, the Women’s Motorcyclist Foundation has been raising funds for programs designed to eradicate breast cancer, most notably through the Pony Express Rides.  To date, the Pony Express Riders have raised $2,059,000 to fight the monster on behalf of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the primary recipient of WMF’s efforts. In 2007, riders from around the nation will once again participate in Pony Express Ride 2007. 

Each rider will ride a minimum of 1000 miles during the formal Pony Express. Most will ride many more miles promoting their individual efforts to raise funds to fight the insidious disease breast cancer.
